Anne Ford and John-Richard Thompson have appeared at over a hundred schools, parent groups, corporations and conferences since the publication of their first book, Laughing Allegra. As Anne always says at the beginning of her remarks: “I’m not a teacher and I’m not a professional. I am a mother, and I speak to you today as a mother.” Her message is a result of deeply-felt and hard-won experience and has become a message of hope for the many hundreds of (mostly) mothers who have attended her presentations.
